The remote control business department was founded in April 1975 and has the largest facility and production capability as remote control factory in the world. Based on such productivity, we achieved 100 million overall remote control production in June 1999.
In 1996, we obtained ISO 9001 certificate to strengthen product quality and established research center to independently develop all products with 50 research personnel to contribute to the securing of national competitiveness. Especially, the high-quality touch panel, independently developed, has been recognized for its technology in the Americas market.

In order to obtain competitiveness in the fierce international market, we have established local factories in Mexico, China, and Indonesia and by having an office in Germany, we are leading pioneering and market expansion in the European market. For the Americas, we have an office in New York. Moreover, we sold 'Hanaro remote control' in Korea to achieve 70% market share and by establishing a nation-wide A/S network, we are endeavoring to make customer support satisfactory.
